There’s something about Ferragamo pumps that I absolutely love. They are so elegant and classy. I find Salvotore Ferragamo’s story quite interesting. Did you know he started out repairing shoes and was popularly known as the shoemaker to the stars? Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn loved and wore his shoes.
The Varina pumps have been on my wishlist for a while now, there are the flat ballet ones and kitten heeled ones and I absolutely adore the prominent bow detail on them…
yummmmm
I’ve been wanting to go to their store in Bicester village in the hopes of nabbing a pair at a bargain ofcourse.
I also love the older vintage Ferragamo pumps, you can call them the “old lady shoes”, it is probably most likely not a lot of people’s cup of tea…
But the main gist I have for you guys is that something incredible happened to me on Saturday.
I went grocery shopping but got sidetracked by the charity store opposite Tesco *sigh* thats when I spotted these…
Yesss they are mine all mine and the juiciest part is that they were £7.50p (yep seven pounds and fifty pence) and they fit perfectly. I thought I was dreaming until I got to the till and the price was confirmed, I don’t think the sales guy had a clue why I was so happy. For sure God ordered my footsteps £7.50 geeez. I don’t even want to imagine how much it would have cost at a high scale vintage shop. The best part of it is that the shoes have NEVER been worn, they are an old pair of brand new shoes…
This right here made my weekend…They are great court shoes, and are perfect for work, I can also rock them casually. I’ll definitely do a post on them soon. I hope I didn’t get anyone too jealous :), catch you guys later.
xoxo
