ForStyleSake is a fashion blog documenting the personal style of two sisters Salewa and Segi. It started back in April 2011 when Salewa travelled abroad to study and Segi was back home in Nigeria. The sisters used the blog as a platform to keep up with each other, especially with their new fashion finds and evolving style. As life would have it, the reverse happened, as Salewa came back home in 2012, while Segi travelled to study and returned in 2015.

The blog played a big role in bonding the sisters, as well as with their readers over all things fashion and style. It has since evolved and has grown quite a following with over a million visits to the blog and counting.

Whilst both sisters love to style versatile pieces from various brands all over the world, ForStyleSake has in recent times shifted its focus to promoting homegrown Nigerian (and other African) brands. ForStyleSake seeks to be the premier online fashion destination for African fashion enthusiasts who want to build their own style repertoire and are interested in discovering awesome Nigerian/African fashion brands.
